the cloisters

the hunt of the unicorn tapestry, southern netherlands, 1495 - 1505

my bike gang made it up to the cloisters,
an extension of the met museum that was
reconstructed in the 1930s from the architectural
elements of several european medieval abbeys +
exhibits art from the same period.
unicorns, knights' tombs, + magic plants -
the cloisters are pretty heavenly.
