i hold on to this scarf like an artifact of the past.

it is far too cold to wear anything but everything i own on top of my scanty, home-spun fringe, which often leaves the jewels of my hat collection a little lonely. on top of my winter wardrobe habits, the addition of this especially ladylike accent brings a whole other meaning to overdressing. we should change that. i say, more lady hats.

i dream about days without logos. i'm obsessed with old westerns because
their palette is individualistic by definition. restricted by history,
draped in bold hues, in and from the earth, representing nobody but
themselves. tailored to one body.
