lady portman at the palm springs international film fest

preggers looks good on portman. i don't know who's design she's flaming, but i'm eating up the shirtlike simplicity. i love the gold chainmail collar + wrist work. i would have left the skirting straight (the ruffling is out of place) + if comfort was the priority, i would have advised some close-toed lace-ups, a jazzy pair of taps to compliment this coy baby doll number.

alabaster fruit

i swear it's been on display for a year & i could NOT ignore it anymore!

with a cherry on top = the stylistic tendency to ignore the curves of your
body via parachutes + shapeless garments in favor of dramatic headgear.

aquaman: winter edition

i ♥ my bean boots as much as the next transplant, but the truth is
that they are heavy + hey he-man woman-hater, the last thing i need
is more calf muscle. these vee booties by my lover jeffrey campbell
are the perfect winter alternative. they are low, light, & get the job done.

for a minute i worried that they wore like glorified water-socks --

(misty memories of a giant sink storing human waste called raging waters,
polluted with sun-stained flesh in mal-styled lycra crowd the
hot box in my mind)

or like aquaman: winter edition, but i got over it.

the romance is all aflame.

i want to be tom(my) ford when i grow up.

...but if i was tom(my) ford, beyonce would be my only model. only one!
i mean, probably. wait, i mean...

hope for spring sun

i don't care if it's 30° outside. i'm going to wear this
slippity-biditty with my entire closet underneath it.
