clown school

this holiday brought the best gift to date. my mom + i collaborated on a clowny-trousers project. originally we set out to grip some simple striped fabric, but simplicity proved hard to find. i was drawn to the geometry of this pattern. i used to have a pair of half + half earrings just like the little pill-shaped ornament that defines this design.
